Description: PNNL hosted DOE Under Secretary for Science Steven Koonin on June 30th. Even though it was just a one-day visit, Dr. Koonin was briefed on CSI. Mark White presented STOMP and the GS³ modeling platform. Kevin Rosso discussed the EMSL instrumentation that has been modified for high temperature and pressure under IS³. Dr. Koonin was very interested and supportive of the capabilities and research at PNNL.
